Experience the exuberance, community spirit, and national pride of international folk dance! Join us for a fun evening of line, circle, and square dances from around the globe. All dances will be fully taught and are enjoyable for newcomers and experienced dancers alike. The whole family is welcome!

What is International Folk Dance?

No matter where (and when) they live, humans love to move to music. The musical map of the world is a rich tapestry of traditions that intertwine and influence each other, uniting us all in our folk culture heritage. Folk dance brings people together, to reflect those musical traditions and move in unison as a community. Folk dance is “for the folks” – it’s varied, accessible, and just plain fun!
