Student Choreography guidelines
- TIME COMMITTMENT – February 10th – Dress Rehearsal (roughly 3:00-5:00, details TBD) and Performance (6:00-8:00).
- PARTICIPATION LIMIT – Dancers may participate in up to two student-choreographed works (either as a dancer, a choreographer, or both).
- PIECE TIME LIMIT – Each piece must be 4 minutes or less. Feel free to trim your music if it is too long. If you absolutely can’t shorten your piece, please talk to me and we may be able to work something out.
- STAGE NOTES – Our stage is roughly 50 feet wide and 15 feet deep. All choreography should enter and exit from Stage Right. There is no access to Stage Left.
- COSTUMES – Choreographers may choose to provide their own costumes, or rent some from the studio collection for $20 each.

PHASE ONE – APPLICATION – Deadline Friday, January 19th

Thank you for applying to present your work in Westover Ballet’s Choreography Festival! Participants will be announced via email on January 22nd.
You will be notified by January 22nd if your piece has been accepted. Rough drafts will be showcased in class the week of January 22nd.
